Since ancient times, one of the most important ministries of a parish community is to help prepare Candidates for the reception of the sacraments of either Baptism, First Reconciliation and First Communion and/or Confirmation. Below is the basic information you need regarding the requirements. A registration cannot be accepted unless all documents and fees are brought in at the same time.
We obtain new textbooks and bibles for the candidates. We use a quality program from Saint Mary's Press for First Communion and Confirmation.
Please Contact our Religious Formation Director, Mrs. Erika Castro if you have any questions.
*When Confirmation II Candidates register, the Sponsor must provide the documentation required by the norms of the Roman Catholic Church: Confirmation Certificates. If married, must be married by the Catholic Church and provide the marriage certificate. The universal norms of the Church is that Sponsors have all three sacraments of initiation, be practicing Catholics, are attending Sunday Mass each week, and giving a good example of Christian life to their God-Child.
*Our Religious Formation Calendar is based off the Ysleta District Calendar.
